It was my first time to attend Cebu’s Sinulog this year. Sinulog is an annual Festival held in Cebu City and the grand parade happens every 3rd Sunday of January. Sinulog is a celebration of the fest of Santo Nino.

San Carlos City is the home of the Pintaflores Festival that happens every November 5. One will see a rainbow of costumes and colorful face paintings during the celebration.

Personally, I am fond of watching the lead dancer, or the Pintaflores princess of each participating group as she dances gracefully with her colorful and elaborate costume.
The grand champion of the Pintaflores Dance Competition will be the province’s representative for Bacolod’s Panaad — the festival of festivals.
