Luneta Park also known as Rizal Park named after our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal were also lies his monument. Many Filipinos perhaps still call Rizal Park as Luneta. The reason why its called Luneta its simply because of its moon shape (lunette – luna) and thus it was called Luneta. You can read some more facts of Luneta here at this blog.
