
This is The Ruins in Talisay City, Negros – a place located just outside Bacolod City. According to the brochure, it’s of Italianate architecture with neo-romanesque columns.
The mansion was built in the early 1900’s by the sugar baron, Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson and was home to his unmarried children with his first wife, Maria Braga Lacson, a Portuguese from Macau. The mansion was the largest residential structure ever built at that time.
The photo above is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) image created with Photoshop 7.0 using 5 pictures taken under different exposure values using a tripod and a Samsung M100 digital camera. So don’t be scared if you see “ghosts”.
