San Carlos City’s Pintaflores 2012 (5 of 5)

I really enjoyed taking pictures during the Pintaflores Festival. It was easy for photographers, like myself, to click away when participating dancers wore very expressive faces. Not to mention that the festivities started on high noon, which made photography much easier.

Personally, I am fond of watching the lead dancer, or the Pintaflores princess of each participating group as she dances gracefully with her colorful and elaborate costume.

The grand champion of the Pintaflores Dance Competition will be the province’s representative for Bacolod’s Panaad — the festival of festivals.
